Orchard has embarked on a significant new project to refurbish a vast 82,220 sq. ft. facility in Coventry. The comprehensive renovation aims to revitalize both the warehouse and office spaces, bringing the building up to modern standards and improving its overall functionality and sustainability.

One of the key elements of the project involves a thorough cleaning of the roof sheets, which will then be prepared and treated with Sharmans Delcote 25, a high-performance roof coating known for its durability and weather resistance. In some areas, other approved systems may be applied, ensuring that the roof is well-protected from the elements for years to come.

In addition to the roof treatment, Orchard will install Sharmans Plygene gutter lining throughout the facility. Plygene is renowned for its watertight seal, offering long-term protection against leaks and water damage, particularly in industrial and commercial buildings like this one.

A focus on sustainability is evident in the installation of new LED floodlights. These energy-efficient lights will be equipped with sensors and timers to reduce energy consumption, automatically adjusting based on ambient light levels and specific usage requirements.

The renovation will also extend to the building’s interior, where all office spaces will be completely refurbished. New flooring and modern lighting systems will be installed throughout, creating a fresh and comfortable working environment for staff.

In the warehouse area, work will include the repair of loading doors, ensuring they function smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, outdated lighting will be replaced with more efficient systems, improving visibility and reducing energy costs.

This project demonstrates Orchard's commitment to maintaining and upgrading its facilities, investing in both the longevity of the building and the comfort and safety of its occupants. The Coventry facility is set to become a modernized, energy-efficient space that reflects the company’s forward-thinking approach.
